Dogs that bark constantly, or growl at people or other dogs, or that are timid and frightened are not good candidates for group services.

Your dog should be confident, and friendly towards other dogs and people!

Puppy Mini Course is for Puppies UNDER 16 weeks old

If you are not sure, take your dog on a trip to a local pet supply store – see how he or she responds to other dogs and people. If your dog constantly barks, hides behind you, lunges or growls, you should select private services. Initial excitement and/or occasional barks are normal, constant barking or frequent lunging are signs that you and your dog are not ready for a group environment. The only exception is group services specifically for reactive, fearful or aggressive animals.

Your dog should be accustomed to standing next to you on a leash.

If your dog constantly bites at the leash or is otherwise stressed by the equipment, you’ll need to work with your dog at home before you bring your dog to group services.
